About Us
We believe that the Bible is God's word to all people in every generation and it is central to all we do. It's for this reason that we meet every Sunday to hear what God has to say to us and to worship him. In our worship, we use a mixture of traditional hymns and modern songs accompanied by gifted musicians.
We remember Jesus' death through the Lord's supper on the first Sunday morning and third Sunday evening of each month. This time is included as part of our worship service. After our morning meeting, we continue to enjoy a time of informal fellowship over tea and coffee. Every other month we enjoy a ‘bring and share’ lunch together.

Prayer Meetings & Home Groups
The essential and guarded elements of our weekly fellowship are our Tuesday evening prayer meetings at our church building and our individual home groups. Prayer meetings are held in the lower lounge at the church and individual home groups are hosted by elders, deacons and church family members
Believer's Baptism
We adhere to the scriptures in conducting a believer's baptism for candidates who wish to freely make their profession of faith in Jesus Christ. We have a sunken baptistry and, having given their personal testimony and confirmation of faith, baptism is by full immersion. Candidates should demonstrate sufficient maturity to make a considered and informed decision to be baptised.
Students
If you are planning on studying at Bournemouth University or at a language school and are looking for a caring church family then Broadstone Baptist Church would be worth a look. We are situated 15 minutes from the university campus (by road). There is plenty of opportunities to use and develop the gifts God has given you. We would be delighted to see you and can assure you of a warm welcome.
Outreach Events
We have various events throughout the year to reach out to the community. These include quiz evenings, craft events, family picnics and other social events. Please check the church Facebook page to see what is coming up.
