Mission

Broadstone Baptist Church has a long history of supporting gospel led missionaries and missionary organisations both in the UK and Overseas. We are in regular contact with all of them and some visit us when they come to the United Kingdom.

In 2018 we established our own Mission Council headed by two Mission Coordinators and supported by three Mission Representatives each with specific organisations and individuals to represent. (See panel below)

The council meets every quarter to talk about our missionaries, discuss updates, pray and discuss ways to raise the profile of mission within the church. We support our missionaries with a tithe from our church income ensuring that they have a regular monthly payment from us as well as additional gifts at Christmas and in times of particular need.

NEW TRIBES MISSION

New Tribes Mission is steadfast in its goal of reaching people who have no access to the Gospel. That was the vision for our ministry when we began in 1942, and it is our vision today. Today more than 3,000 missionaries serve throughout the world, and training programmes in more than a dozen countries prepare missionaries for service among the thousands of tribes who have yet to hear.

MESSIANIC TESTIMONY

Our calling to reach Jewish people takes our workers throughout the UK, as well as Eastern Europe, Germany, France and into the Cape Town region of South Africa. We have associates living, and working, in Israel as well.  These are exciting days to be involved in taking the message of God’s love, to Jewish people across the world.

OMF INTERNATIONAL

OMF is a global fellowship of Christians with a heart for East Asia. We are passionate to demonstrate and proclaim the good news to East Asia’s billions, many of whom have never seen or heard it. We’ve been on the same mission for over 150 years. But like the rest of the world, East Asia is changing fast. So we’re always looking for new ways to be more effective and adapt our methods for maximum impact. And we do it all so that Jesus is made known among East Asia’s billions, in all walks of life.
